Dr. Henry V. Frazzini, 65, of Valparaiso, died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2004 at
Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Ill.
He was born June 6, 1939 in Youngstown, Ohio to Sylvester and Victoria (Campione)
Frazzini.
On June 12, 1964 at Holy Name Cathedral in Chicago he married Marian Noel,
who survives.
He is also survived by his children, Diana (John) Moore of Valparaiso, Susan
(Jeff) Thode of Chesterton, Marian (Michael) Drenth of Valparaiso, Henry
Frazzini, Jr. of Valparaiso and Nicole (Steve) Caylor of Greenwood, Ind.;
his mother, Victoria of Campbell of Ohio; 10 grandchildren, Tyler and Colin
Stiscak, Nathan, Victor and John Moore, Jeffrey and Rebecca Thode, Steven
and Allison Drenth and Luke Caylor; a brother, Sylvester (Virginia) Frazzini
of Hubbard, Ohio; two sisters, Rose Marie (John) Makosky of Warren, Ohio,
Debbie (Jerry) Novasel of Pulaski, Pa. and nine nieces and nephews.
Dr. Frazzini was a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. In 1971 he graduated from
Chicago Osteopathic Medical School. He received his undergraduate degree in
pharmacy from Duquesne University. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic
Church in Valparaiso, past president of the Indiana Osteopathic Association,
served on the board and executive council of Porter County Step Ahead and
was president for Educare. He was a founding member of Christ Renews His
Parish at St. Paul Catholic Church and was on the medical review board for
Harvard University. At Wee Care Children Development Centers in Chesterton
and Valparaiso, he served as health care coordinator.
A funeral Mass, Fr. Joseph Pawlowski officiating, will be at 11 a.m. Monday,
Oct. 11 at St. Paul Catholic Church. Interment will be at St. Paul Catholic
Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Bartholomew Funeral Home,
Valparaiso, and on Monday, at the church, from 10 a.m. until time of the
Mass. Wake services will be at 7:15 p.m. Sunday at the Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Loyola University Medical Center Transplant Unit.
