Constance R. 'Connie' Truman dies at 57

Constance R. “Connie” Truman, of Portage, died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2004 in Portage. She was 57.

She was born March 13, 1947 in Chicago, the daughter of the late William H. Whitten and Doris E. McCoy, who survives in Valparaiso.

She was married to Larry Truman of Portage.

She is survived by two sons, Edward (Tina) Truman of Portage and Christopher (Lee) Truman of Portage; a brother, Randy (Debbie) Whitten of Whiting; three grandchildren, Shawn, Ryan and Carissa and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a home maker. She was a member of The Way of Holiness Church of South Haven.

A funeral service, Rev. Frank Duvall officiating, is scheduled at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 8 at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home Portage Chapel, 6941 Central Ave., Portage. Interment will be at Heritage Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home Portage Chapel.
