Former local resident, Connie Pacyga, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 2004 at her
home in Hampton, Va. She was 54.
She was born Connie Rose Tuter Nov. 26, 1950 in Glenwood, Iowa, the daughter
of Charles W. Tuter and Rosalee Alley, both of whom preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Michael G. Pacyga; a son,
Michael W. Pacyga (Anya) of Winston-Salem, N.C.; a daughter, Alice J. Pacyga
of Chicago; a granddaughter, Luba Pacyga; three brothers, Charles Lynn
(Maureen) Tuter of Burns Harbor, John Jeffrey Brolsma of Michigan City and
Stephen Stewart Brolsma of Madison, Ala.; two sisters, Johnna Jane (Donald)
Dolph of Pine Twp. and Linda Leila Brolsma of Porter and several nieces and
nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a nephew, Brian C. Tuter.
She moved to this area in 1958. Connie attended local schools, with the
Chesterton High School Class of 1969 as Connie Brolsma, but graduated from
Valparaiso High School.
No services are planned.
Connie asked that we all perform a random act of kindness as a memorial to
her.
