Audrey Ann Cox dies at 71

San Pierre resident Audrey Ann Cox, 71, died Tuesday, Nov. 16, in Valparaiso.

She was born Feb. 16, 1933, in Chicago, the daughter of Henry and Florence (Miller) Armstrong, who preceded her in death.

On Oct. 7, 1950, in Chicago, she married Harold Cox, who survives in Valparaiso.

She is also survived by three daughters, Linda (husband Andrew) Pratscher of Hobart, Barbara (husband David) Schoenenberger of Valparaiso, and Sandra (husband Richard) Kavanagh of Valparaiso; seven grandchildren, Kimberly (husband Bryan) Bramson, Keri (husband Ryan) Pletka, Michael (wife Laura) Pratscher, April, Joshua, Valerie, and Benjamin; and six great-grandchildren, Kora, Brandon, Claudia, Alexis, Madeline, and Kaylee.

She was a homemaker who loved her family and enjoyed excursions and traveling with her daughters.

A funeral service will be held Friday, Nov. 19. For time and place call Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, Portage Chapel, at (219) 762-1330. She will be interred at Heritage Cemetery in Portage.

Visitation is scheduled from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Edmonds & Evans, Portage Chapel, at 6941 Central Ave. in Portage.
