Chesterton resident Lisa H. Ellis died Sunday, Nov. 23, 2003 at the V.N.A.
Hospice of Valparaiso. She was 41.
She is survived by daughter Jessica Ellis of Galesburg, Mich.; son Nick
Ellis of Chesterton; fiancee Nick Randolph of Chesterton; former husband,
Chris Ellis of Galesburg, Mich.; sister Louise Borsits (husband David) of
Hammond; brothers Danny Pool and Carl “Kimmy” Pool, both of Hammond; and
numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A lifetime resident of the Calumet area, she was a dispatcher for Able
Disposal of Chesterton for 11 years. She was a member of the Chesterton Art
Club. A loving mother, sister and friend, she loved gardening and many other
endeavors.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2003 at 6 p.m. at the
Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Ave., in the Hessville section of Hammond.
Friends are invited to meet with the family on Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. A
graveside service will be Friday at Elmwood Cemetery at the convenience of
the family.
