Service Monday for PFC Joseph Capodagli Jr.

PFC Joseph Louis Capodagli, Jr., died suddenly on Monday, Jan. 27, 2003 while serving in the United States Army stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He was 22.

He is survived by parents Lisa and Paul Magura of Porter; sisters Lisa and Megan; brothers Christopher and David; grandparents Diana and Dennis McMahon of Illinois, George and Mary Jane Magura of Florida and Lillian Capodagli of Illinois; aunts and uncles, cousins, countless freinds, and Frank Schubert.

He was preceded in death by Joseph Capodagli and grandfather Al Capodagli.

Capodagli graduated from Portage High School and was active in wrestling. He was affiliated with the Boys and Girls Club and the Fitness Barn as a children’s soccer coach. He will be remembered as an easy going, fun loving, charming young man and will be truly and deeply missed.

Visitation will be held at the Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery and Funeral Home, 11333 S. Central Ave., Oak Lawn, Ill. on Sunday, Feb. 2, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 to 10 p.m. Funeral services will be Monday, Feb. 3, at 11 a.m.
