Ricky Lee Bane, of Portage, died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2003 at Portage Community Hospital, Portage. He was 45.

He was born July 31, 1958 in Michigan City, the son of Imogene Sechrist, who preceded him in death.

He is survived by a brother, Wesley Dean Bane of Michigan City; a sister, Inez Runyan of Clinton; friend, Deborah Bane of Portage and nephews James and Wesley Bane.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Leslie Kenneth “Kenny” Bane.

He was a printer employed at Chart Pool USA Inc.

A visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 17 at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton. Cremation will be at Heritage Crematory, Portage.

Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association.
