Marjorie E. Ameling dies at 81

Marjorie E. Ameling of Grove City, Charlotte County, Florida died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2003. She was 81.

Born Dec. 17, 1921 in Cincinnati, Ohio, she is survived by son Joe (wife Jean) of Englewood, Fla.; daughters Pattie Ameling of Englewood and Becky Morgan (husband John) of Reston, Virg.; sister Rosemary Coch of South Bend; grandchildren Kim Blackard of Gem, Kansas, Kelly (Amanda) Blackard of Punta Gorda, Fla., John (Zoe) Morgan of Fairfax, Virg., and Julie Ameling of Englewood; three great-grandchildren, Laura Leigh Blackard of Punta Gorda and Josephine and Holly Morgan of Fairfax.

A resident of Grove City Manor since 1982, she was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Grove City. She was a friend of Bill W.’s for 22 years.

No services will be held. Interment will be at a later date in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Chesterton. Lemon Bay Funeral Homes, Englewood Chapel handled cremation arrangements.
