Kendall R. Peterson, 74, of Valparaiso, formerly of Munster, died Friday, Nov. 14, 2003.

He is survived by his wife Ann (nee Bitcon) of 44 years; 2 children, Dave (Michelle) Peterson of Shererville and Debra (Dr. Steven) Zeldenrust of Rochester, Minn.; 4 grandchildren, Daniel, Jon, Eric and Nicole; a sister, Phyllis “Pep” (Jack) Wagner of Wheaton, Ill. and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by parents, Roy and Elvera Peterson.

He attended Liberty Bible Church of Chesterton. He retired from Inland Steel with 33 years of service and was a member of the 25 Year Club. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and was formerly an Elder and Deacon of the Trinity Reformed Church of Munster.

Funeral services Pastor Ken Long officiating, will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 17 at Liberty Bible Church, 824 N. Calumet Ave. (Old 49) Chesterton. Interment will be at Chesterton Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Sunday at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Rd. (2 blocks south of Ridge Rd.), Highland.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Liberty Bible Church in his memory.
