Julian R. Sudduth dies at 66

Julian R. Sudduth, of Valparaiso, died Thursday, Dec. 18, 2003 at VNA Hospice Center, Valparaiso. He was 66.

He was born Aug. 31, 1937 in Paris, Ill., the son of John and Margaret (Hollenbeck) Sudduth, who preceded him in death.

On Dec. 12, 1959 in Gary, he married Linda Barney, who survives in Valparaiso.

He is also survived by 3 daughters, Sharon Sudduth of Sarasota, Fla., Susan (John) McElfresh of Portage and Michele Sudduth of Valparaiso and 2 grandchildren, Jessica and Jeffrey McElfresh.

He was employed as a locomotive engineer in the Transportation Department of Inland Steel.

No services are scheduled. Cremation will be at Heritage Crematory, Portage.

No visitation is scheduled.

Memorials may be made to VNA Hospice of Porter County, 501 Marquette St., Valparaiso.

Arrangements are under the direction of Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home.
