Jacqueline L. Holdren dies in Missouri

Jacqueline Louise Holdren (nee Pangburn) of Chesterton died Friday, Nov. 28, 2003 after a long illness at St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City, Missouri. She was 65.

She was born April 16, 1938 in Gary. She was preceded in death by mother Violet (Ed) Howe of Robinson, Ill., husband James Holdren of Chesterton, father Chester and stepmother Ruth Pangburn of Chesterton, and nephew Michael Coslet.

She is survived by children Robin Ray of Carlsbad, Calif., Suzanne (Kelli) Paul, James Holdren and Jeffrey Holdren all of Chesterton, and Donald Holdren of South Haven; stepson Scott Holdren, stepdaughter Vicky Holdren and brother-in-law Bill Holdren, all of Chesterton; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters Janice Coslet, Susan (Hap) McIntyre, Linda (Jerry) Reed, all of Chesterton, Pamela (Ron) Horlacher of South Haven, Carol Pangburn of Portage, Andrea Lee of Valparaiso, Janet (Paul) Shields of Palestine, Ill.; brother David (Nancy) Koch of Valparaiso; half-brothers Chuck Litherland of Hartsville, Tenn. and Roy Litherland of California; and many nieces and nephews.

Following cremation, a memorial service and interment are planned for a future date, to be announced in the Chesterton Tribune. Memorials may be made to the Morton Funeral Home, c/o Joe Caldwell, 911 Main St., Linn, Missouri, 65051.
