South Shore to run extra east bound train after Cubs games

Back To Front Page

To accommodate an expected increase in ridership for the Cubs post-season home games, the South Shore commuter line will operate an extra eastbound train following the conclusion of the NLCS games in Chicago.

Tonight and on Wednesday, Oct. 18, and--if necessary--Thursday, Oct. 19, the extra train will depart Millennium Station 90 minutes after the each Cubs game ends.

The train will run non-stop to Hegewisch Station and will make all intermediate stops to Carroll Ave. in Michigan City. This train will not serve Hudson Lake or South Bend.
