A Disaster Recovery
Center (DRC) will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, June 2, and
Monday, June 4, in Lake Station, to assist Indiana flood survivors.
The DRC will be
located at Polk Elementary School, 2460 Vermillion St. in Lake Station. It
will not be open Sunday, June 3, and will close permanently at 7 p.m.

Centers offer in-person support to individuals and business owners. Recovery
specialists from FEMA, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), and the
State of Indiana will be available to provide assistance to anyone filling
out their applications or updating their status. Voluntary organizations are
available and offer a variety of services to help survivors recover.
