LEGAL NOTICE

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

The Board of Education of the Valparaiso Community Schools will receive bids at the Valparaiso Community Schools Administration Building, 3801 N. Campbell St., Valparaiso, Indiana 46385, up to 10:00 am, local time, Wednesday, July 6, 2011, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for the following items:

FOOD PRODUCTS

CAFETERIA SUPPLIES

MILK & OTHER DAIRY PRODUCTS

BAKERY PRODUCTS

Detailed specifications are on file in the business office located at the above address and may be obtained by request from this office.

Bids shall be in accordance with the “Instructions to Bidders” and shall be properly submitted and include a non-collusion affidavit. Proposals shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check made payable to Valparaiso Community in an amount equal to at least five (5%) percent of the bid submitted. Proposals must also include certification that the organization and its principals are not suspended or debarred.

Each bid shall be in a sealed envelope legibly marked with the name and address of bidder and indicating that a bid is enclosed. The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding.
