NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Notice is hereby
given that the Town of Chesterton, Indiana, Department of Stormwater
Management through its Storm Water Management Board, will receive sealed
bids at the Office of the Chesterton Clerk Treasurer, 726 Broadway,
Chesterton, Indiana 46304 up to 6:00 p.m. on July 20, 2009, for a public
works project including the furnishing, installation and connection of a
storm water force main to existing storm sewer manhole. The specifications
for the project are available for inspection and copying at the office of
the Town of Chesterton Clerk Treasurer.
All bids must be
on a State of Indiana approved form and accompanied by Indiana State Form
96, a non-collusion affidavit, and a bid bond payable to the Town of
Chesterton in the amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the total
bid amount.
The Town of
Chesterton Storm Water Management Board reserves the right to reject any and
all bids and waive technical defects if, in its judgment, the interest of
the Town of Chesterton so requires. The Storm Water Management Board also
reserves the right to re-advertise for bids if deemed appropriate in its
sole discretion. The Storm Water Management Board reserves the right to
accept any bid within ninety (90) days after the time of the opening of the
bids during which time no bid may be withdrawn.
