NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF PROPOSED

ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS

Notice is hereby given the taxpayers of Porter County, Indiana that the proper legal officers of Porter County, Indiana will meet in the Porter County Administration Center, 155 Indiana-Suite 205, Valparaiso, IN, on April 26th, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. to consider the following additional appropriations in excess of the county budgets for the year 2011 and to transact any further business which might come before the Council:

Taxpayers appearing at such meeting shall have a right to be heard thereon. The additional appropriations as finally made will be referred to the State Board Of Tax Commissioners. The Board will make a written determination as to the sufficiency of funds to support the appropriations made within fifteen (15) days of receipt of a certified copy of the action taken.
