AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 702

GARBAGE PICKUP AND DISPOSAL INCLUDING RECYCLING

BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED by the Ogden Dunes Town Council as follows:

AMENDING Section 1: of Ordinance #702 to read as follows. The rate to be charged for garbage pickup and disposal, including recycling for the following:

The rate to be charged for garbage pickup and disposal, including recycling pickup and disposal is $22.00 per month per residential structure in the town for one year beginning July, 2009 and ending June, 2010; $22.71 per residential structure in the town for one year beginning July, 2010 and ending June, 2011; $23.44 per month per residential structure in the town for one year beginning July, 2011 and ending June, 2012; $24.21 per residential structure in the town for one year beginning July, 2012 and ending June 2013.

There shall be an additional charge imposed on the property owner for a residence obtaining refuse pickup from outside the structure as opposed to the street which shall be $16.00.

AND AMENDING Section 4 to read as follows: The charge set forth in this Ordinance is mandatory for all residential structures in the Town of Ogden Dunes.

All charges assessed in accordance with this Ordinance are the ultimate responsibility of the owner of the property served.

ALL OF WHICH IS PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Ogden Dunes Town Council, Porter County, Indiana, this 1 day of June, 2009.
