NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF PROPOSED ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION

Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of Duneland School Corporation, Porter County, Indiana, that the proper legal officers of Duneland School Corporation, at their regular meeting place, at 601 W. Morgan Avenue, Chesterton, Indiana, at 6:00 p.m. on the 7th day of June 2011, will consider the following additional appropriation in excess of the budget for the current year.

Fund Name: Rainy Day

Major Budget Classification/Account Number:

45100 Building Construction and

Improvements $800,000

TOTAL for Rainy Day Fund: $800,000

Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have the right to be heard. The additional appropriation as finally made will be referred to the Department of Local Government Finance (DLGF). The DLGF will make a written determination as to the sufficiency of funds to support the appropriation made within fifteen (15) days of receipt of a Certified Copy of the action taken.
