NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS AND ALL OTHER PERSONS AFFECTED OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION

Taxpayers of the Town of Chesterton and all other persons affected hereby are notified that the Chesterton Town Council will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. local time at the Chesterton Town Hall, 726 Broadway, Chesterton, Indiana on August 9, 2010 for the purpose of considering the appropriation of an amount not to exceed $45,000 in order to provide additional funding for the Chesterton Police Department K-9 Unit through the Police Gift Fund.

Taxpayers of the Town of Chesterton appearing at the hearing shall have a right to be heard in respect of this additional appropriation.
