NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PROPOSED

DEVELOPMENT STANDARD VARIANCE

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Zoning Appeals of the County of Porter, Indiana, will hold a public hearing on the 18th of May, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. in the Porter County Administration Center, 155 Indiana Avenue Suite 205, Valparaiso, Indiana, to consider the petition of Anderson Crossing Limited Partnership, seeking Development Standard Variances from the Unified Development Ordinance, to waive the following Sections; Section 3.06 ARO District Development Standards, Section 7.13 EA-01; Easement Standards; General; (C) Drainage Easement, Section 7.19 MM-01: Monument and Marker Standards; General, Section 7.20 OP-01: Open Space Standards; General, Section 7.21 OP-02: Open Space Standards: Residential. Section 7.23 PN-01: Pedestrian Network Standards: Residential, Section 7.26 PL-01: Perimeter Landscaping Standards; Residential, Section 7.28 SM-01: Storm Water Standards; General, located on the following described parcel of land:

LEGAL DESCRIPTION

Part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 29, Township 36 North, Range 6 West of the Second Principal Meridian, in Porter County, Indiana, described as beginning at a point on the East line of said tract, 265 feet South of the Northeast corner thereof; thence West, parallel to the North line of said tract, 251.72 feet; thence North, parallel to the East line of said tract, 75 feet; thence West, parallel to the said North line 98.28 feet to a point 350 feet West of the East line of said Northeast Quarter; thence South Parallel to said East line, 121.14 feet; thence West, parallel to the said North line, 280 feet; thence South, parallel to the said East line, 701.76 feet; thence East, parallel to the said North line 630 feet to the East line of said Northeast Quarter; thence North along said East line 747.90 feet, more or less, to the place of beginning.

GENERAL LOCATION: A parcel of land located at 785 Baltimore Road, Portage Township, Porter County, Indiana.

Written suggestions to said proposed Variance may be filed with the Executive Director of the Porter County Plan Commission before such public hearing and/or verbal statements relating thereto will be heard at the above-designated time and place. A copy of the file is available for public view at the Plan Commission office.
