NOTICE OF PUBLIC
HEARING
PROPOSED
DEVELOPMENT STANDARD VARIANCE
Notice is hereby
given that the Board of Zoning Appeals of the County of Porter, Indiana,
will hold a public hearing on the 18th of May, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. in the
Porter County Administration Center, 155 Indiana Avenue, Suite 205,
Valparaiso, Indiana, to consider the petition of Faustino McKamey, 4005 John
St., Valparaiso, seeking a Development Standard Variance from the Unified
Development Ordinance: Sections 2.22 RL District Development Standards:
Minimum Side Setback; to reduce the minimum side setback from 8 ft. to 4
ft., Minimum Front Setback, to reduce the minimum front setback from 20 ft.
to 5 ft., and Section 5.04 AS-01: Accessory Structure: General; (F)
Placement, placing and accessory structure in a front yard, in order to
construct a 20 ft. by 24 ft. garage, located on the following described
parcel of land:

Description: Lot 22 in Hayden Manor, as per plat thereof, recorded in
Miscellaneous Record 9, Pages 345 and 346 and Plat File 3-E-4, in the Office
of the Recorder of Porter County, Indiana.
GENERAL LOCATION:
A parcel of land located at 4005 John Street, in Center Township, Porter
County, Indiana.
Written
suggestions to said proposed Variance may be filed with the Executive
Director of the Porter County Plan Commission before such public hearing
and/or verbal statements relating thereto will be heard at the
above-designated time and place. A copy of the file is available for public
view at the Plan Commission office.
