NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the Chesterton Town Council will, at its next regularly scheduled meeting, on April 25, 2011, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as its schedule permits, at the Chesterton Town Hall, 726 Broadway, Chesterton, Indiana 46304, hear the Petition of Debra J. Wysong to vacate a portion of a public way generally located at or near 205 South 20th Street within the Town of Chesterton, more particularly described as follows, to wit:

All that portion of 16 foot Unimproved Alley as shown on the plat of Busse’s Addition to Porter, now in the Town of Chesterton, recorded in Miscellaneous Record “E”, page 555, in the office of the Recorder of Porter County, Indiana, described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast Corner of Lot 18 in Block 1 of said Busse’s Addition; thence south approximately 118 feet to the Southeast corner of Lot 17 in Block 1 in Busse’s Addition; thence east approximately 16 feet more-or-less to the west line of Lot 4 in Block 1 in Busse’s Addition; thence north approximately 118 feet to the Northwest corner of Lot 1 in Block 1 in Busse’s Addition; thence west approximately 16 feet more-or-less to the Point of Beginning.

A copy of the Petition is on file at the office of the Town of Chesterton Clerk-Treasurer, 726 Broadway, Chesterton, Indiana 46304 for examination prior to the hearing.
