Indiana Commuter Transportation District (NICTD) is seeking sealed bids from
qualified contractors for the Gary Station Passenger Platform
Reconstruction, Lake County, Gary, Indiana. All bids must meet NICTD’s
material specifications, as more fully described in the Technical
Specifications, Plans and Drawings of the Bid Packet.
A Pre-Bid meeting
will be held to discuss the work in further detail and to answer any
questions that the Contractor may have at 10:00 A.M., local time, Wednesday,
March 9, 2011 at the NICTD Admin/Eng. Offices, 601 N. Roeske Ave., Michigan
City, IN. Attendance is strongly recommended.
Bid Form Packets
are available beginning on February 23, 2011 and thereafter for a
non-refundable fee of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) per packet. Payment for Bid
Form Packets shall be in the form of a certified check, money order or cash
and is required prior to distribution. Bid Form Packets, including
specifications, are available between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.,

Bid Packets must
be requested by letter with the required check enclosed, by an approved
pre-payment method or by picking up in person at the above address. Your
request should include the company name, address, email address, phone/fax
numbers, the individual’s name to respond to and only a Federal Express or
UPS account number that can be utilized for shipping and billing purposes.

which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after
