NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of the Town of Porter, Porter County, Indiana that the Town Council at their regular meeting place at 303 Franklin Street, Porter, Indiana, at 7:00 p.m., on February 23, 2010, will consider the following additional appropriation, for the Rainy Day Fund budget for the current year:

Other Services and Charges -

Repairs & Maintenance $200,000

Total $200,000

Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have a right to be heard. The additional appropriation as finally made will be forwarded to the Department of Local Government Finance (DLGF). The DLGF will make a written determination as to the sufficiency of funds to support the appropriations made within fifteen (15) days of receipt of a Certified Copy of the action taken.
