LEGAL NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Board of Education of Valparaiso Community Schools at the Valparaiso Community Schools Administration Center, 3801 North Campbell Street, Valparaiso, Indiana 46383, up to 10:00 AM on December 4, 2009, at which time bids will be opened and read aloud. Envelopes containing bids must be sealed and shall be plainly marked “Bus Bid”. Any bids received after the designated time will be returned unopened.

All bids submitted should be accompanied by a notarized Non-Collusion affidavit, and a Bid Bond or certified check for an amount of 5% of the total bid executed by the bidder and an acceptable security company, and payable to the order of the school corporation to guarantee completion of the contract that may be awarded.

The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informalities in bidding.
