HEARING
PROPOSED VARIANCE
Notice is hereby
given that the Board of Zoning Appeals of the County of Porter, Indiana,
will hold a public hearing on the 16th of December, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. in the
Porter County Administration Center, 155 Indiana Avenue, Suite 205,
Valparaiso, Indiana, to consider the petition of Ed Drazer, 859 S. 300 E.,
Kouts, seeking a Variance from Section 6.03, Conventional Subdivision
Standards and Effect on Developmental Standards for relocation of the common
area in a proposed subdivision, to be located on the following described
property:
LEGAL
DESCRIPTION: A parcel of land being part of the West 1/2 of the S.W. 1/4 and
part of the West 1/2 of the S.E. 1/4 of the S.E. 1/4 of the S.W. 1/4 all in
Section 18, Township 33 North, Range 5 West of the 2nd P.M. in Pleasant
Township, Porter County, Indiana described as follows: Commencing at the
S.E. corner of the West 1/2 of the S.E. 1/4 of the S.W. 1/4 of said Section
18; thence N 89º43’57” W along the South line of said S.W. 1/4, 661.72 feet
to the Point of Beginning; thence continuing N 89º43’57” W, along said South
line, 800.00 feet; thence N 00º16’03” E, normal to said South line, 580.00
feet; thence S 89º43’57” E, parallel to said South line, 800.00 feet; thence
S 00º16’03” W, normal to said South line, 580.00 feet to the Point of
Beginning. Containing 10.65 acres, more or less, and subject to all Legal
Highways and Easements.
GENERAL LOCATION:
A parcel of land located between 113 and 125 E. CR 900 S., in Pleasant
Township, Porter County, Indiana.

suggestions to said proposed zoning amendment may be filed with the
Executive Director of the Porter County Plan Commission before such public
hearing and/or verbal statements relating thereto will be heard at the
above-designated time and place. A copy of the file is available for public
view at the Plan Commission office.
