NOTICE OF DISTRICT ACCEPTING BOARD NOMINATIONS

Notice is hereby given by the Board of Directors of the Damon Run Conservancy District is

inviting nominations for the election of one Board member for the Board position currently held by John C. Barko whose term is expiring. The election will occur at the annual meeting of the District on February 16, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. at the office of the Valparaiso Public Library located at 103 East Jefferson, Valparaiso, Indiana. The area of the District involved is the entire area of the District.

A director must have the following qualifications: (1) Be a freeholder of the District, or an officer or nominee of a corporate freeholder of the District, and (2) Be qualified by knowledge and experience in matter pertaining to the development of the District. Nominations for director must be submitted to the Damon Run Conservancy District c/o William A. Ferngren, Ferngren Law Offices, LLC, 570 Vale Park Road, Valparaiso, Indiana, 46385 in writing on or before December 1, 2009 and must be signed by at least five (5) freeholders of the District. The election of directors will occur at the above-mentioned annual meeting.
