VARIANCE
Notice is hereby
given that the Board of Zoning Appeals of the County of Porter, Indiana,
will hold a public hearing on the 18th day of November, 2009 at 6:30 p.m.,
in the Porter County Administration Center, 155 Indiana Avenue, Suite 205,
Valparaiso, Indiana, to consider the petition of Paul Edmonds Jr., c/o
William Ferngren, Ferngren Law Offices, LLC, 570 Vale Park Rd., Valparaiso,
seeking a Use Variance from Sec. 2.33, CH, High Intensity Commercial
District Intent, Permitted Uses and Special Exception Uses, of the Unified
Development Ordinance to permit a residential structure in a CH, High
Intensity Commercial District; to be located on the following described
parcel of land:
A parcel of land
in the SW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 23, Township 36 N, Range 6 W of the
2nd P.M., and which parcel is described by metes and bounds as follows:
Beginning in the SE corner of said Quarter Quarter and running thence West
on the South line of said Section a distance of 200 feet; thence North
parallel with the East line of said Quarter Quarter 440 feet; thence East
parallel with the South line of said Section 200 feet to the East line of
said Quarter Quarter, and thence South on said East line 440 feet to the
place of beginning. Containing 2 acres, more or less, subject to all legal
highways.
GENERAL LOCATION:
A parcel of land at 792 N. Calumet Ave., in Liberty Township, Porter County,
Indiana.
Written
suggestions to said proposed zoning amendment may be filed with the
Executive Director of the Porter County Plan Commission before such public
hearing and/or verbal statements relating thereto will be heard at the above
designated time and place. A copy of the file is available for public view
at the Plan Commission office.
