INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — A private Indianapolis school is apologizing for a
lunch menu toasting Black History Month that featured fried chicken,

soul food bar on Wednesday for a lunch menu titled "Celebrate Black
The school says in its apology that the lunch menu "was an offensive and
misguided attempt by our foodservice provider to celebrate Black History
The school's statement says it recognizes "the distress and hurt feelings
this has caused within our entire community."
