Daylight time end means extra hour for Indiana bars

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Indiana bars and liquor stores will be able to stay open an extra hour this weekend as daylight saving time ends.

The Indiana Alcohol and Tobacco Commission says alcoholic beverage sales may continue until the normal 3 a.m. end time on Sunday. The extra hour of sales time comes from clocks being turned back by an hour at 2 a.m. Sunday.

Indiana began observing daylight saving time statewide in 2006.
