GOP delegates Porter County Tourism Board member charged with resisting in Indy

A member of the Porter County Convention, Recreation, and Visitor Commission (PCCRVC) and two Porter County delegates to the Republican Party convention were booked into the Marion County Jail on Friday.

* Scott D. Tuft, 49, a member of the PCCRVC, was arrested by the Indianapolis Police Department on a misdemeanor charge of resisting law enforcement, according to the MCJ’s on-line database.

* Timothy Daly, 50, a Center Township GOP delegate, was arrested by the IPD on a misdemeanor charge of public intoxication.

* And Amy Daly, 45, also a Center Township GOP delegate, was arrested by the IPD on a felony charge of battery against a police officer and on a misdemeanor charge of resisting law enforcement.

According to the PCCRVC’s website, Tuft, was appointed to the commission’s Board of Directors by Valparaiso Mayor Jon Costas in 2012, and is an account executive for Elegan Customwear in Valparaiso.
