Germann beats Gensel; Clymer wins

In the race for Porter County Prosecuting Attorney, Democrat challenger Gary Germann handily beat incumbent Republican Brian Gensel, 34,398 votes to 29,230. Germann took 54 percent of the vote to Genselís 46 percent.

In the race for the bench of Porter Superior Court 2, Republican incumbent Jeffrey Clymer staved off a challenge from Democrat Clay Patton, 33,200 votes to 30,159. Clymer took 52 percent of the vote to Pattonís 48 percent.
