Find WDSO’s daily
schedule in the Chesterton Tribune for program times.
The station will be
broadcasting 24 hours a day, seven days a week as it did during the last
school year. Regular programming will air Monday through Friday from 6 a.m.
to around 4 p.m. daily with music throughout the overnight hours and on
Saturdays and Sundays.
WDSO plays a
variety of music, mixing all types during each music hour. After school
music shows highlight a particular type of music, the choice of the on-air
DJ. Request lines are open at that time and listeners can call in and have
favorite songs played on-the-air. No requests are taken between 6:00 a.m.
and 3:00 p.m.
WDSO will continue
its daily programming with shows like the CHS News & Events; Community
Bulletin Board, Daily Almanac taken from “Echoes of the Past” from the
Chesterton Tribune, Profile America from the U.S. Census Bureau, Bird Note,
Insight Daily Radio, On The Money Minute and Sound Beat.
Weekly programs
include the CHS Weekly Report, Porter County Perspective and the Indiana
State Police Road Show.

the Westchester Township History Museum; Pet Talk, hosted by Dr. Jenny
Herbert, veterinarian and owner of Arbor View Animal Hospital along with
staff; Artful Conversations with host Chris Acton, publicist for the
Chesterton Art Center, and Naturally Speaking, hosted by Jean-Pierre
Anderson, an interpreter from the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore.
WDSO sportscasters
will announce home games during the regular season for CHS varsity football
in the fall, boys’ and girls’ basketball during the winter months and
softball and baseball in the spring. Some away games and post-season games
will be broadcast as well.
