Portage adult ed charter school classes to begin September 11

New Vistas High School night high school classes begin on September 11. The classes are open to any students in Northwest Indiana who need to complete their diploma requirements. The night class program is designed to benefit both students who enroll with New Vistas to complete their diploma requirements as well as students enrolled in area high schools who are behind in credits.

Registrations for the night high school classes will be from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on September 9 and 10. Class times are 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Cost of the program is determined by the enrollment type.

New Vistas High School is located at 5391 Central Ave., Portage.

The school is sponsored by Neighbors’ Educational Opportunities, Inc (NEO) in Portage. NEO is a not-for-profit agency dedicated to providing an alternative means of earning a high school diploma. NEO provides New Vistas High School, a fully-accredited charter high school as well as GED preparation classes.
