The Marram School,
a new, private K-12 school, will open its doors in Chesterton this fall. The
school will foster a self-directed learning community that celebrates
individual differences and encourages students to pursue their interests by
being the creators of their education.
Meetings for
prospective families will be held Tuesday, July 22, and Wednesday, July 23,
at 7 p.m., in the Library Service Center at 100 West Indiana Ave.,
Chesterton.
For families unable
to attend the July meetings, other meetings will be held August 4 and 5, at
7 p.m., at the Library Service Center.
The Marram School
will serve homeschool families and those considering homeschooling who would
like the support of a caring and vibrant community. The school will be
located at 135 Lincoln Avenue in the Methodist Activity Center in
Chesterton, but it is not affiliated with the church.
