The CHS Speech and Debate team broke two students from preliminary rounds at
the NFL national tournament, being held in Indianapolis this week.
Seniors Andrew Hogan in humorous interpretation, and Jack McCrum in
Lincoln/Douglas debate advanced to octafinals, placing them in the top 60 in
the nation.
Competition continues through Friday's final rounds. The team also has
several students now competing in supplemental and consolation events.
More than 2500 students from 987 schools from across the nation are
competing in the week-long event.
