Duneland Education Foundation campaign underway

Back to Front Page

Tim and Shelly Rice of Jackson Township recently made a donation to help kick off the Duneland Education Foundation’s Growing Together Campaign. The campaign allows for every dollar donated, up to $25,000, to be matched by the Duneland School Corporation. This matching partnership exists due to recent state legislation.

The Rices felt that by donating they were not only supporting their own children but all Duneland students. They like that the programs being funded through the campaign have the potential to reach every student in the Duneland schools.

The projects being supported by the current campaign include a student leadership academy, a teacher leadership academy, a technology training lab and the 5% Club.

The Duneland Education Foundation’s 2008 -2009 Growing Together campaign is an ideal program for Duneland community members to make community oriented donations.

Donations of any amount are still needed to reach the $25,000 goal. Whether making a $1 or $25,000 donation, all contributions will be matched. If you are interested in making a donation or would like to receive a campaign brochure detailing the programs and projects, please contact the Foundation at 983-3715 or foundation@duneland.k12.in.us
