Back To Front Page

The following Duneland Schools were included on the Indiana Department of Education’s (IDOE) 2017-2018 Four Star Schools list: Chesterton High School, Liberty Intermediate, and Jackson Elementary.

The Four Star Schools designation is designed by the IDOE to recognize great schools in Indiana and has been given out for 30 years.

To receive a Four Star designation, a school must receive an “A” on the State’s A-F accountability system, have excellent ISTEP pass rates, carry a high overall graduation rate (if applicable), and show success in closing achievement gaps.
