CHS to present 'Looking Glass Alice in Wonderland'

Back To Front Page

Chesterton High School Family Theatre will present Looking Glass Alice in Wonderland, adapted by Della Tazel from Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass on March 1-3.

This year's production is even more exciting than usual, as it is the 20th Anniversary of Chesterton Family Theatre! This winter play is co-directed by teacher Anne Sharp, executive director and Katrina Lutze (CHS grad 2008), creative director.

Alice has no idea what to expect when she goes through the looking glass into a wonderland of life-sized chess pieces, playing cards, and creatures that love to recite poetry. Everything that sensible Alice has been taught seems to be turned upside-down in this absurd new world. How will a well-behaved little girl manage to track down the White Rabbit, solve the mystery of the Jabberwocky, and get to the Eighth Square to become a queen?

Come join the fun as the students of Chesterton High School perform Looking Glass Alice in Wonderland.

Performances will be on Friday and Saturday, March 1 and 2, at 7:00 p.m., and on Sunday, March 3, at 2:00 p.m. in the CHS Auditorium. Tickets are on sale now at the CHS Main Office during school hours or at www.showtix4u. Tickets are $7 for adults; $5 for students and seniors and $20 for a family ticket (2 adults and 2 children). Tickets will also be available at the door. Children three years of age and under are free.
