The Chesterton High School Music and Drama Departments will present the musical, "Chicago (High School Edition)" by Fred Ebb, Bob Foss and John Kander on Friday, November 15, at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, November 16, at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, November 17, at 2:00 p.m. in the CHS Auditorium, 2125 S 11th Street, Chesterton.

The high school edition has been edited slightly to remove adult and overtly sexual language, and two songs ("Class" and "A Bit of Good") have been eliminated from the production.

"In roaring twenties Chicago, chorus girl Roxie Hart (Paige Fowler) murders a faithless lover and convinces her hapless husband, Amos (Dylan Leavitt), to take the rap. . .until he finds out he's been duped and turns on Roxie. Convicted and sent to death row, Roxie and another "Merry Murderess," Velma Kelly (Rebecca Lane), vie for the spotlight and the headlines, ultimately joining forces in search of the "American Dream: fame, fortune, and acquittal."

Ticket prices are as follows: $10 for Adults, $8 for Students and Seniors.

Tickets can be purchased at the CHS Bookstore from 8 a.m.-Noon weekdays or at╩www.showtix4u.com
