St. Pierre placing fourth. Senior Olivia Dujmovich placed seventh in poetry.
Finally senior Layla Mooradian placed ninth in original oratory.
“This tournament was a starting point for the final stretch of the season.
Many students are settling into new material and this weekend was the first
competition out for many of them. Although the team did not have many
finalists, we are in excellent shape heading into post season,” said coach
Eric Schaefer.
Fishers High School won the tournament followed by Warren Central, Munster,
Culver and Noblesville respectively.
The Chesterton team will compete at the Elkhart Memorial High School
tournament next weekend.
