The Chesterton High School Music and Drama departments will present their annual musical--this year, Little Shop of Horrors--at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 17-18, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19, at the CHS auditorium.

Little Shop of Horrors is the story of a meek floral assistant, Seymour Krelborn, who stumbles across a new breed of plant he names “Audrey II”--after his coworker crush. This R&B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down-and-out Krelborn as long as he keeps feeding it--feeding it blood, that is. Over time, Seymour discovers Audrey II’s alien origins and its will to global power.

Cast members: Danny Schmiegel as Seymour; Emily Coleman as Audrey; Simon Williger as Mr. Mushnik; Logan Ginther as Orin Scrivello; Rebecca Lane as Audrey II; Elle Hodge, Julia Larson and Priscilla Sabourin as Street Urchins; Jordan Tuel as Mrs. Luce; Steven Mayersky as Skip Snip; Paige Fowler as Mrs. Bernstein; and Zane Trent as Patrick Martin.

Members of the ensemble: Matteo Falque, Emily Loney, Devin Michael, Jackie Neely, Lily Roberts, Launamarie Stangl and Josh Sweet.

Beginning Monday, Oct. 23, tickets can be purchased online at or at the CHS Bookstore during school hours.

Tickets for evening performances and the Sunday afternoon performance will be $10 for adults, $8 for students/senior citizens. Duneland staff passes will be honored for one ticket for each performance.
