The Duneland Family YMCA is excited to announce Friday Family Fun Nights, beginning on Friday, June 6, from 6-8 p.m., with an Indoor/Outdoor Family Sports Challenge Tournament to kick it off.

First week participants can choose from pickleball, basketball, racquetball and billiards. The following Fridays will include a Father's Day Baseball Tournament and Super Dad Contest on June 13, Pool Party on the June 20, and a bike ride and picnic dinner on the June 27. Light dinner and beverages will be provided.

“Though it can be challenging to find time to connect regularly as a family in today's fast-paced world, doing so is important. Studies reveal that family time can boost kids’ self-esteem, enhance social development, and create strong relational bonds,” said Sue McLaughlin, Youth & Family Coordinator at the Y. “Family Fun Nights is a wonderful opportunity to encourage spending quality time together, learn new skills, build healthy habits and create lasting memories together as a family and a community."

Friday Family Fun Night is exciting and affordable. The cost is $15 per family for Y members and $30 per family for non-members.

The Duneland Family YMCA is a charitable nonprofit focusing on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility and is a United Way of Porter County Partner Agency.
