Y Spring Break Camp fun for kids along with peace of mind for parents

Back To Front Page

When school is out, the Y is in session. There's no better way for kids to spend their days off from school than at the Y. During spring break this year, the Y has taken the time to focus on eventful days full of activities, sports, arts and more. Children will be in a safe, structured environment enjoying all the Y has to offer. And, they'll have lots of other children to play with.

A cold sack lunch is required, but that's it! The Y takes care of the rest - snacks, activities and friendships are all included in spring break at the Y.

This year's Spring Break Camp will focus on a preview of 2019 Summer Camp Shorwau. Did your child come to camp last summer? Do they remember how much fun it was? It's going to be even better this year.

During Spring Break Camp this year children will learn all about the planned summer activities. They'll preview some of the weekly Summer Camp themes: Mad Science, To Infinity & Beyond, Willy Wonka, Story Book, and Ocean/Shark Week. Spring Break Camp participants will also sing camp songs and have a Color War with powdered chalk and squirt guns, and they'll make great memories of their spring break vacation.

2019 Spring Break Camp is March 25- 29, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. To register your child contact Megan Sowers at 921-0183 or msowers@dunelandymca.org.

The Duneland Family YMCA is at 215 Roosevelt Street, Chesterton. The Y has been serving the Duneland communities for more than 50 years, focusing on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
