The Porter County
Health Department was reporting this morning two more COVID-19 deaths in the
county, to bring the total so far to 30.
Both victims were
Center Township residents in the 70-79 demographic and both were residing in
long-term care facilities.
To date, 30 Porter
County residents have died from COVID-19: four Westchester Township
residents; one Liberty Township resident; 14 Portage Township residents; and
11 Center Township residents.
Deaths by age
group: six 50-59; one 60-69; six 70-79; eight 80-89; and nine 90-and-over.
Thirteen men have died and 17 women.
