Augsburg Lutheran Church of Porter and St. Patrick's Catholic Church of Chesterton are both celebrating milestone years in their ministries. Both parishes are celebrating 150 years of Christian service to the Duneland community this year. 

To commemorate this milestone, these two churches will celebrate a liturgy held in common by both traditions. On Wednesday, January 23 at 7 p.m., Pastor Erik Bernth, Pastor of Augsburg Lutheran Church, will preach at an Evening Prayer Service at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 638 N. Calumet Road, Chesterton. The following Wednesday, January 30 at 7 p.m., Father James Meade, Pastor of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, will preach at an Evening Prayer Service at Augsburg Lutheran Church, 100 N. Mineral Springs Road, Porter. 

All are welcome to join in the Evening Prayer Services at both churches. This is an opportunity to celebrate Christianity in Duneland.
