Tribune urges social distancing to prevent spread of Covid19 virus

Back To Front Page

The extraordinary public health threat posed by the Covid-19 virus has prompted evaluation by the Chesterton Tribune of in-person access to the Tribune office.

We are asking our customers and subscribers to please pause and consider whether they need to come into the office itself. Reducing in-person contact will help slow the spread of the virus among our families and friends.

-- Can your question be answered by phone or email?

-- Can your payment be sent through the mail or dropped through the mail slot in the Tribune front door?

-- Can you email your information to us?

Please use the email news@chestertontribune.com for news items and Voice of the People letters. Send photos attached as jpegs, and keep Voices of the People to 400 words or less.

Send advertising copy to ads@chestertontribune.com. Feel free to phone in to make sure your copy has arrived, or to make any changes.

Chesterton Tribune office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call the office at (219) 926-1131.

The Chesterton Tribune will strive to continue to be your daily source of local, state, national and international news. Please support us, your hometown newspaper, as we share vital information for our community. If you have information about outreach and community support activities, please let us know.

The Tribune's staff members are here to gather and share news for the community and we look forward to the day when we can once again share friendly handshakes and caring hugs.
