The Chesterton Tribune is announcing that effective Monday, November 6, the price of single copies of the newspaper will rise to $1.

In announcing the price increase publishers David Canright and Margaret Willis noted that the price will remain below that of other area newspapers.

“Frankly, we can’t remember the last time we raised the price,” Canright said.

He also noted that subscribers will now save $14 per month over the newsstand price.
