With brutally hot temperatures forecast for today, the Chesterton Fire
Department is reminding folks that the town hall at 726 Broadway is
available for use as a cooling shelter.
“Residents may stop in and find relief from the heat,” the CFD said.
The town hall meeting room is open around the clock.
