Lakeshore Motors is bringing Ford Motor Company’s Drive 4 UR Community to the second annual Hooked on Art--Live Street Art Festival on Saturday, Sept. 28, in the Chesterton Downtown.

For every person who takes the wheel and test-drives a new Ford vehicle at the event, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Lakeshore Motors and Ford Motor Company will donate $20 per test drive to raise as much as $6,000 for Frontline Foundations.

“As a community fundraiser, it’s fun, easy to do, and certainly beats selling candy bars,” Frontline spokesman Derek Frazier said. “Best of all, all proceeds fund Frontline scholarships to young men and women who normally could not afford substance abuse treatment.”

Hooked on Art is a family-friendly community event and a fundraiser for Frontline, which provides substance abuse treatment for young adults. The event, in Thomas Centennial Park and its environs, will spotlight live street artists from across the country and the region working in a variety of mediums. The event will also feature live music, unique shopping opportunities, and an interactive Kid’s Corner for families and children.

Lakeshore Motors dealership staff will be on site to assist with all Ford vehicles and provide additional information about each vehicle available for test-drive. To participate and get behind the wheel of your favorite Ford vehicle, please visit the Hooked on Art--Live Street Art Festival between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28. Participants must be 18 or older and have a valid driver’s license. There is a limit of one test- drive per household. All test-drives will last approximately seven to 10 minutes.
